In 1976 I was hired by the New York Times to photograph Jasper Johns and Tatyana Grosman at her small printing studio on Long Island. Forty-five years later I was asked to meet him at his studio in Connecticut and photograph him again, for images that would be used in his Catalogue Raisonne.
